Sumner Ridge Vineyard.

A family vineyard needed an online store that felt as crafted as the wine inside the bottle — and someone to keep it running through every busy season.

The challenge

Sumner Ridge had a loyal following at the cellar door, but almost nothing online. Their old page couldn't take orders, didn't reflect the brand, and went down every time a newsletter went out. They were turning away customers who simply wanted to buy a bottle from home.

What I did

We started with the brand — a refreshed logo, a warmer palette, and photography direction that matched the feel of the property. From there I designed and built a custom site with a proper online shop, a wine club sign-up, and an events calendar.

Because reliability was the real worry, I moved them onto my hosting & care plan. Now releases launch without a hitch, backups run automatically, and there's a real person — me — on the other end of the phone.

The vineyard's shop finally matches the wine. Thirty years of taste shows in every detail.

The result

Online sales climbed steadily through the first year, the wine club became a meaningful second revenue stream, and the site hasn't gone down once since launch — including through their busiest release weekend on record.
